The Oppo BDP-83 is a high end Blu-ray player and one of the few that are SACD/DVD-A capable. Very few devices with these capabilities are available, and the ones that are are in another price range altogether. The BDP-83 features an ethernet port for BD-Live (Profile 2.0) support, and also includes 7.1 channel analog audio outputs.

The Sylvania NB530SLX is an entry level Blu-ray Disc player released in early 2009. This player is very similar to 2008’s Sylvania NB501SL9, save for a redesigned appearance with a smaller form factor. This player is Profile 1.1 compatible, meaning Bonus View content is supported. BD-Live functionality is not supported.

The Sylvania NB530SLX features full 1080p video output at 24 frames per second to provide an original cinematic experience.
